Fujifilm X-Pro1

Fujifilm has been in the digital camera game longer than anyone else, having outlasted its film rival, Kodak. It has brought to market a wide range of cameras, from consumer point-and-shoots to SLRs praised by professional portraitists and wedding photographers. It has sold compact medium format film cameras and the well received fixed-lens FinePix X100. The X-Pro1 borrows from the X100 its innovative hybrid viewfinder and photographer-first ethos. The X-Pro1 has an APS-C sized X-Trans sensor and uses Fujifilm's new XF lens mount, initially including an 18mm F2, 35mm F1.4, and 60mm F2.4 macro. The X-Pro1's closest market segment is the similarly sized but pricier Leica M-series rangefinder, a comparison Fujifilm is encouraging by releasing a first-party M-mount adapter for the X-Pro1.

The XF roadmap for the next year includes a 14mm F2.8, 23mm F1.4, 27mm F2.8, 56mm F1.4; and three zoom lenses with image stabilization: 18-55mm F2.8-4, 10-24mm F4, and 50-200 F3.5-4.8.
