Samsung has been busy adding WiFi to its new cameras (such as the recent update to the NX200, the NX210), but when traveling away from WiFi hot-spots you might still want to be able to upload from your point-and-shoot. Enter the Galaxy Camera, which takes a SIM in each of a UMTS and LTE model and runs the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system opening it up to software expandability.

Sony's 1"-sensor based Cyber-shot DSC RX100 has been getting a bit of deserved ink, so it's about time we give it a mention. The RX100 is a fixed-lens zoom (28mm-100mm equivalent) camera that collapses nearly flat and is just larger than Canon's line of enthusiast PowerShot S cameras. The camera offers a very-fast F1.8 lens at the wide end, excellent image quality, and some useful multi-shot modes from its auto-stitching sweep panorama to a hand-held noise reduction "twilight" mode.
