DPReview has another short interview, this time with Casio's Senior General Manager of the QV Digital Camera Division. Casio, despite not having the same film pedigree as its peers, has long been a leader in the compact cameras loved by general consumers—particularly the segment now being lost to camera phones. Mr. Nakayama addresses their strategy of winning on image quality and ease of use.

DPReview has a brief interview with Olympus' manager for prduct planning SLR products, Toshi Terada. The interview starts with the OM-D E-M5 and PEN line, but more interesting is the suggestion about a new Four Thirds camera coming soon. The interview closes with some discussion about how and where Olympus plans to focus with compacts given the rise of mobile camera phones.
